Trauma in the Classroom

Before you watch the films, please learn more about our project, and how you might be able to support us.

'Trauma in the Classroom' is the first in a series of films that gives a voice to young people who have experienced trauma. Our aim was to tell their stories, and in turn give teachers and others involved in education an insight into how they might help these children in their healing journey.

With your help we can make a real difference not only to our children, but also to the professionals doing such important and challenging work, who want to reflect and learn more about the power of embedding trauma-informed approaches and how this builds a compassionate community that benefits us all.

The films are free to use for parents and carers who want to share them with their children's teachers and their school to raise awareness of the themes of the film.

If you are able to make a donation it will support our future early-trauma projects and help us to do more to tell our children's stories.

A donation would be expected from schools and other organisations where the material is used as a training tool. This gives you access to a downloadable link so you can insert the films into your training presentations. We are keen to get the message out there as much as possible, so please get in touch to discuss a fair price.

Creating these videos is a labour of love, requiring significant time and effort from our dedicated team. From script writing and filming to editing and production, each video represents a considerable investment to ensure we deliver high-quality resources. To help us continue producing these valuable tools and expand our reach to even more families and educators, we would be grateful for your support.
