Viewhear is a social enterprise media company, primarily producing high quality impact and promotional films for charities, community groups and small businesses - using our profits to support communities and give them a voice.
Our social mission is to give a voice to the voiceless, and to build people and organisations' confidence to express and value their stories. We run projects supporting people facing life challenges such as disability, poverty, mental health issues and loneliness, giving them the opportunity to tell the world what life feels like for them.
We're a professional, supportive and friendly team, providing an attentive service to ensure your story is told in the most dynamic, creative and effective way. We work closely with you to fully understand your communication needs and carefully craft high quality videos that you will be proud to share.
Our experienced team covers every aspect of film making - planning and producing, filming, aerial, editing, animation and post production - with the skills to work on a wide variety of projects, and many repeat clients. We also believe creating great videos shouldn't just be the privilege of the professionals: our media training offer can give you the skills and confidence to do it yourselves. Why should we have all the fun?
My background is in sport development and I currently work for Argyle Community Trust, predominantly within community engagement and youth engagement programmes. I also work on Project 35, the Trust and football club's social action initiative in partnership with Ginsters aimed at reducing poverty in Plymouth. I love working for a charity and making a positive difference to the lives of those who we work with.
Interests / hobbies - netball and sea swimming.

I'm a highly experienced Operations & Commercial Manager predominantly for leisure businesses, charities, non profits & social enterprises. I'm passionate about sustainable business practices, and environmental strategies that transform commercial businesses. Formerly the Operations / General manager for the multi award winning National Marine Aquarium. I started my career in the Royal Navy over 35 years ago and now pre-retirement I work as a finance officer in local government.
My background has been predominantly working with older people. For the last 12 years I have worked with the charity 'The Whitleigh Big Local' as the community worker for older people, doing a lot of work to combat social isolation. I run groups where they come for food and company, and arrange trips through the year. Alongside this I also work on many community projects within the Whitleigh area - a very rewarding job.
